Yup, Amnesia: The Dark Descent mostly. Slender, meh, not the scariest game.

Amnesia was only scary for the first half of the game, the rest I spent more annoyed at the puzzles than scared of the game

custom stories are usually scary as hell though, you should try some out

regardless, Amnesia is a great game
