So how do you join one?

Go to clan discussion and look through the clans for one that you like. And then apply in a recruitment thread, or if its unofficial then in their [DSC]. There are also recruiting threads in clan events.

Make sure you use their application template, and you should also make sure you meet any requirements. Some clans require people to have a certain belt and or post count before they can join.
