Okay, I did what you said and none of it worked.

However, I thought I might as well work on my first impulse, uninstalling old toribashes, (luckily remembering to backup the autosave folder) that also didnt work, so I figured why not try re-installing the program, and lo and behold it works now.

Sorry for this, but I appreciate your help anyway.
