[code] Midwinter weekend code jam [complete]
Time again for a code jam.

Why: Coding and eating Christmas chocolate is a perfect match
What: Create a game in a weekend
Language: Any (HTML5, Flash, JavaScript)
Tools: You can use 3rd party game makers such as Game Maker, Codify
Platform: Web, PC or Mac
Rules: Best game is selected by the judge (me)
Prize: A ToriPrime and VIP subscription for 2012
When: Winner will be selected on Monday the 26th.

I'll join in too but I can't be selected as the winner.

I remember seeing similar games to this around our highschool computers from students using gamemaker XD

I need a reliable flash file hosting site. something that I can upload my game on. I'd appreciate it if someone could provide one for me.xD (swf file, I think) xD

Hagan what do you mean with reliable? There are tons of websites out there.

Also, GameMaker is pretty good at mind-fucking.

just embed it into a local html document, upload a zip of the files and have it DLed and played offline.

edit: my game is coming along fine, hopefully the deadline doesn't catch up to me :o
