As far as I can see it's because of the perspective the previews are taken in, if you take a look at the flat they are perfectly placed.

It looks really great , but if I were you I wouldn't change the colors from grey to blue (or whichever color you are going to replace it with).

I somewhat agree, it looks really nice in greyscale.
I'd love to see it colored as well as keeping a greyscale version when it's finished ^^
