That's a really poor way to look at this game. Like any other game the paying aspect is for just cosmetics except for the airdrops which is equal playing grounds for everyone. You call one in, expect at least 3-5 different groups trying to get it as well.

Honestly forget airdrop exists.

All it does is skip the searching phase of the game and get you straight into the hunting over player phase. But due to how fragile people are and the fact you can have it taken from you so easily most people don't do it unless they're either really sad enough to do it.

Or are streaming.

Honestly, it's so rare to see an airdrop and that's not just my short experience saying it but rather my friends that have played it since day 1
