Looks pretty sweet dude, just a bit too dark, i'd use a black shader that illuminates the tori. Like an under-lit shader. Can't wait to check out rest. Nice music choice

record in a higher res maybe?

It's called chromatic abberation and displacement maps.

i can see the squares that make up the circles
this means you need to record in a higher res.

That was because of the chromatic abberation. RGB split(chromatic abberation) makes edges look pixely.
