rofl, I know the reflection is set a bit high, but I wanted it to look brand new, and I spent almost no time on the toast, just a simple cube object and a noise texture.

glad I could help you mapleleaf, I've only had the program for a week, but it's relatively easy to learn

Pretty good toaster, but there are a couple problems.
1. The incut edges are too square.
2. The holding braces are generally duplicated on both sides, and based on the size of them, you should be able to see the opposite pair.
3. Is that supposed to be bread in there?

1. I know, I was in a hurry.
2. what?
3. yea, rendering bread wasn't my main goal in the picture, just the toaster.

Generally when I add something as a placeholder that isn't designed to look good, it has a texture with a label along the lines of "this is bread lol".
Also, the metal loops inside the toaster.
There should be a set on either side of each hole.
There do not appear to be.

sorry, I realised that after my last post

your model is ok for a basic one though, although not as accurate, it's good for a first attempt :P

keep trying
