If you are going to swing the camera make sure it's tracking the action, it's what I tend to do. e.g. If there's a big kick winding up I'll follow it around to the impact. Just be careful with how fast you do it, I turn my mouse down to 800dpi (the lowest it'll go) and it still manages to spin too fast at times even with gentle pushes.
