Those are nice.

The third one was the best.

try to restrain yourself from using only filters for your shading.

Bump mapping and Beveling and embossing makes very generic 3D effects.

Since you are new, i guess it is ok, but later the effect will die out and you will want to invest in hand shading.

Which, i may say, is FAR more fun

also, avoid doing tribals.
