Second, yes, reinstall toribash and make sure that it's being run as an admin... it seems to fix a lot of problems in windows 7, maybe it does the same in vista.

Well what the heck it's worth a shot.

Do you know how to open elevated command promt?

If so try typeing this command: sfc /scannow
This could take a while to complete so be patient.

First, click start, then All Programs, next click Accessories, now right click Command Prompt and select "Run as Administrator." I may ask for the administrator password.

it says that there were corrupt files, but they could not be fixed.
i tried accessing the details, and it said access denied
