try right clicking on my computert,then propertes for all drives in your sytem then if your cpu is under 1.8ghz then you need a new pc or new cpu that fitts in the socket

or turning off your shaders, then updating your graphics drives,

Note that updating isnt a solution all the time, especially for Ati radeons.
Try to find an earlier release, that might help.
Also try the new 3.8 beta.

lol yeah 3.8 beta is nice but.. i used to be able to use shaders and its really bugging me why i cant now..

Turn off reflections and ambient occlusion.

Try to get that old driver you had before.
First: get rid of this new driver, then get the old one.
I suppose you got the old driver from a driver CD or something, then updated it, try getting back the old, it should work again.
