[ChainEvent] Knight In Shining Armour

Introduction:

In the early ages, Fafnir, son of the dwarf King Hreidmar, gifted with a powerful arm and fearless soul, guarded his father's house of glittering gold and flashing gems. But greed consumed his soul and in his attempt to steal the royal treasure, Fafnir was cursed to guard the treasure as a colossal fire-breathing dragon.
Sivard Snarensven, a legendary hero, decides to slay the dragon Fafnir as he hears that bathing in the creature's blood grants invulnerability, and to accomplish such deed he turns to the master toribashian blacksmiths seeking the armor piece(s) that will augment his talents.

Objective:

It is time for you, fellow toribashians, to forge the armour that will lead Sivard to greatness. Thou shalt design an original medieval-themed texture or texture set of utmost excellence, suited for a true hero. The armor piece(s) you create will then be the object of scrutiny by four expert blacksmiths and the finest creations shall be rewarded with fame, glory and gold.

Rules:

-Thou shall not post your entries after the 19th of May
-Thou can only submit one entry, though you can edit it before the 19th of May
-Thou shall not submit old creations or textures that are not exclusively the product of your own work

Yay! (I've been needing a little bit of TC.) The competition was lots of fun Oblivion, got to try out some new techniques I've been meaning to do.

Also, Congrats to Pate5 and Ezeth.

(>^_^)>
Congratulations to the winners.

I'm glad you enjoyed it JinxZ, it was a privilege to host this competition so thank you all who participated and a special thanks to the Gamekeepers for helping me, without you guys I would have probably failed horribly since this was my first time holding an event.

I'm really sorry vermine, BenD and Malvie, too bad you were late because you guys would have spiced this up. I think that if you got here sooner you would have somehow forced Pate5, Ezeth and JinxZ to make sets and we would be able to see their true potential. It would be definitely interesting to see so many great texturers face each other.

Oh, and I was almost forgetting to thank Bojan, he made the banner for free, on short notice and with an outstanding quality.
