Why are you judging a fucking game if you did not even play it? "I don't like the taste of this thing, but I didn't even try it".

I've finished so far three Metro books (Metro 2033, Metro 2034, Metro 2033: Piter) and I've played Metro 2033 too. I have to say that I am a little disappointed about no-freeplay mode (where you could finish the main story and travel across the map freely), but overall it was good. It's not as scary as I though, and of course authors made locations/storyline a bit different than in book, but as I said - it's playable, and you should have fun from it.

edit: IMHO read book first, then play the game

Judging something without trying it makes your opinion less viable. You have to try something to have a proper opinion about something :-)

I just played Big Rigs: off the road racing. It is possibly the best game I've ever played since shitty cod shooters. I give this game 12/10 the only problem is little bugs, but once you play it... Damn

ALL the Disgaea's (1 and 2 on PS2 and 3 and 4 on PS3)

I mean, I've watched the anime but that only goes to basically the ending of game 1 (while changing shitloads about the story according to multiple sites) so yeah, wondering if it's worth hunting down 1 and 2, and buying 3 and 4.

never listen to TV shows about computer games. ever. the only thing they care about is how many people watch their show. for that, they sacrifice good reviews, or anything game related, so that they can pull the numbers from general tv watchers rather than gamers.
TV game review shows give possibly the worst reviews i have ever seen.
If its good enough to make it onto a TV show, buy it.
If it gets reviews for being overly complicated and gimmicky, stick it on the top of your to play list, because the game will have some really cool shit!

game was great, a little tedious at times, but interesting.
never finished it myself, but im silly.
the comments about the book dont really matter, the game will be cheaper than the book, try it and find out, if you like it, get the book.
I havent read the book and thought the game was enjoyable.
Books are always better than the movies, same applies for games.

nah, dont think so
wouldnt pay 50$+ for a game where Id only play the singleplayer once.
multiplayer on the last one was horrible, would wait to find out if it picks up.
they look to be trying to find the sweet spot between battlefield and CoD, but thats a tall order, and it will likely just ending up trying to be CoD.
