There is theory among the chaos which people learn. Even the most wacky out of place poems have theory and that is why they are so wacky in the first place. The writer knew the theory in which made words sound in that stressed in such a way.
And also you got to broaden your horizons. Being able to do different forms and creative with the devices you already have in mind.
Some can bend far more than another.

As I said, apparently I'm doing poetry the right way since I have a bundle coming out next year.

I'm not that into poetry, but I could read, and write music from almost any instrument. I can write and write poetry and I can do many forms of drawing or translating ideas across onto paper. Publishing matters not to me. I'm walking art.
