No one was watching mid which inevitablly lead you to getting shot in the back of the head and dying. Also, you didn't buy anything with the money you get from the first round. Note that buying armor vs glocks is very good, and forces them to go for headshots to do damage. Otherwise it's pretty shit damage and requires quite a bit of landed shots to kill you.

If you're not too fond of armor as you feel like you die anyways to headshots, feel free to buy a kit and a smoke. Or, buy a kit with two flashes. Depends on how you want to go about it. Or, if you want to be more "supportive" of a teamate, buy a kit and buy a pistol like p250 for a teamate with armor. Also be sure to let your teamates know where they can pick up your kit when you die with it. If you're playing with a kit first round, be sure not to push and stay close to a site.

Here you can see that you bought a five seven, not realizing you could also buy kevlar. You don't really need a helmet, but the kevlar is your best bet with a five-seven to ensure that when you get shot you don't get aim punched to fucking hell and can't hit your shots. Also, your positining as they were coming into site was pretty horrible.

You also decided to run out of your cover towards someone who was in cover, while you already knew there was one person in mid trying to shoot at you. You run right into his crosshair with your back turned too him knowing he was there. You would have been better off trying to go for the guy highway/mid than to try and run out with your back turned trying to get the guy going quad. Reason being is the guy going quad still has to swing out from out of quad, giving you a second or two to get behind the red box/little box on site and giving you the chance to shoot and kill the guy in mid. Although, since there were more alive than just these two it's possible there was also a guy near fork lift or A main.

What really screwed you here was mostly your positioning. But also get into the habit of knowing what you can't and can buy and when/how much money you're going to get if you lose a round. Hope that makes sense.

Here at the very start of the round, you can see that you bought head armor (not really needed but that's ok). What is wrong is you don't buy any smokes, grenades, flashes, or incendiary with the extra $1500 you have. With $1500 you can afford 1 smoke, 1 fire, and 2 flashes.

The smoke can be used to give you some "cover" and/or stop them from rushing for a little bit to buy some time for your team to get repositioned for the push. Smokes last for ~17 seconds if I remember. That's quite a while. Also, a fire would also stop them from going to a certain spot or also rushing in. Usually people don't run through fire or run into it because they don't want to take the damage. And flashes, well they blind people pushing in so you can peek out and shoot at them and then take cover after getting a pick or two.


The second mistake of this round is peeking a new angle that isn't clear while you're still reloading which of course, a T happens to push this angle just at the right time and you're not able to shoot back at him because you're still reloading. #csgotiming

When you reload, try to take cover as best as possible until you're done reloading then peek out. If you peek out while still reloading, most likely you'll get shot down before you can shoot back. Especially at higher ranks when their aim is a bit better.



Happens here again in the next round you show us. You kill two of them, and then reload and decide to run out of quad opening yourself up from being shot at from A main and Squeakyish.

Your teamate is barely getting onto catwalk and you have no one sitting truck to watch anyone pushing out A main. So you should be aware that it's possible there is another person so unless you were rotating to B and you know there is no chance of anyone being A you shouldn't really just run out in the open while still reloading.
