Do I need a GM to supervise?
No you do not.
What mod should I play?
If you do NOT have a bye, you must play judofrac. If you DO have a bye, you must play kickbox. Once you get past the second round, you must play aikido. Further mods will be announced as the tourney moves along.
What time should I play?
You can play whenever you want AS LONG AS IT IS BEFORE THE DEADLINE. Once the deadline is passed, measures will be taken in accordance with the rules.
How Do I let someone know that a duel is finished?
The WINNER must pm the results to Huck.
I meant Kickingass is himself. Okay just forget it I'm not a Gm so I cant change anything.
You said there was a log of IPs, so does that mean you can see our IPs from past forum posts or when we signed up? I'm sure you'll see that they're completely different for most of our Toribash history except for the few times that he has come over to my house or I have gone over to his. And wouldn't my whole house share the same IP so I couldn't just "Change computers" since all the computers are connected to the same router or is that not true?
Ask him for a time he can play with you and tell him times you could play with him. If you got a time when you both can play you confirm it, and meet at that time.
If he doesn't answer you or if one of you has no time at all, the one who doesn't have time will get disqualified.
Bye Player means that you do not have an opponent in that round and get to the next round automatically.
That happened here because the tournament could end up with three people in the final round etc. so the GMs had to find a number that can get divided by 2 enough times so there would be two people in the finals, 4 people in the semi finals, 8 people in the round before etc.
As an example. There are 6 people.
A vs B, A wins
C vs D, C wins
E vs F, F wins
in the next round there would be someone with an auto win anyways, so you can just say E and F both win the first round so there would be four players remaining.
This is indeed a bit unfair to those who have to fight in the first round, but that's the only way it works.
For those who can't find their names:
Use CTRL + F.
