It looks good, I guess. I do have one question. Is he supposed to look deranged? I don't mean it in an offensive way.

for your first human it is good.

many problems on this head.

every little part of the face is not detailed enough,
the shading you used looks just wrong.

the mapping is not that good too,
the jaw is high, the nose is long, the mouth and ear are small.

when it comes the jaw, we have a shadow under the jawline,
but when it comes the end of the sides of the jawline, the transition is not sudden, same with the back, a line can't fit in there,
again shading problems.

It's looking a litle bit real, 7/10

Why u think that shading on the face is wrong and what detalies i missed?

Probably about jaw u have right, bu t is to hard to fix it now i think... Nose is perfect imo cuz longer nos looks way better on tori... Mouth is good tho imo but i havent notice small ears xd

About the shading,
You need to use a bigger brush to do the shading,
you are doing on lines and they are separated, it is looking like scribbles.

I have good exaples I hava made before,
You can see the details you are missing here
