So I went ahead and made myself a nice and simple head texture in Paint.net. I quite like it, but I can't really stick with a decision on what color I want it to be. For now I stuck with a Titan-ish color, since I felt I had the best item choice for it. Once I'm high enough QI for pure I'll definitely just go with a black and white version though.
