Based on the fact that I still have full Tyrian achievement even though I had given my full Tyrian away, I should also have these:

Achievements are still in the beta stage so updates won't be in a sudden effect.

1. You get an achievement for getting the Tyrian, and even if you give them away, you keep the achievement.

2. You don't get achievements right away. They are updated periodically.
