Hello, I was wondering about the bumpmap textures which exist. I've read about bumpmap textures and tried some of those pictures on them and they seemed to take no effect, so?

1.) Do they even work?
2.) If yeah, how do I use them and make use of them?

You have to have bumpmap checked in your game options.

Sly, thx for help. However, I've got this 512s head and I also downloaded the bumpmap texture from the thread and put it on (have bumpmapping on in options) and it doesn't seem to take any effect at all!
