Damn. Why am I so interested in Infractions? Oh well. Back to subject.

When a Smod, Alpha-team or Admins infract you, what are those points? Do they give purpose?

When it expires, does the point go out from your I dunno.. list...

From what I understand they are a bit like points you would get on a driving lisence.
Its like a warning that you have done something wrong once you get 10 infractions you will get a ban for a set amount of time.
Some infractions last longer than others it depends on the severity of the infractable offence.

I know about that.

BUT its the points I am confused...

5 points - One day ban
10 points - Five day ban
15 points - One month ban
20 points - Permaban.

What if an infraction is expired? Does it count?

I don't think so.

That's what expired means

Different infractions have a different amount of points.

When the points on active infractions add up you get a ban.

If the infraction is expired then the points are not counted.

If the total amount of points you've had gets to a stupidly high amount you automatically get a permaban.

There are also perma-infractions that never expire.
