hey, I have downloaded Gimp and every time I open it up it utomaticly quits out of its self, plz help

Reinstall and see if it works.

Try a re-install or try a new download....
This could(im talking from experience) be happening because there is a damaged file in the Gimp files,Anything from a faulty brush to a faulty font...
If the problem persists even after you tried what i said,then i am not sure..It could be your pc then...

If all fails, get yourself a Slax (Portable/live linux) And install gimp in it. Yea, i know its a dumb idea.
