This problem should correct itself after playing a few matches in multiplayer, typing /dl Shigechio and then /lp 0 Shigecho, or by deleting your custom folder from your toribash directory (located in: My Computer << Local Disk << Games << Toribash << custom << Shigechio).
The reason everyone sees it is because the people have you in their custom folders, and you haven't been downloaded recently (since you sold your ground texture).

..Ground textures seem to have odd tendency to stick for a while and/or reappear at random times.
Anyways, for future: Uploaad transparent texture your ground texture slot before you sell / transfer it away. That should kill that.
