Live the life! Sid Meier's Pirates! is a game where you are, duh, a pirate. You can control your ship across the Caribbean, chasing pirates, adoring beautiful girls, finding your family and vanquishing evil villains.

You can chose your style freely. Whether you want to be a snobby, dutch privateer or a scabby foul pirate is completely up to you. Chose between agile Sloops or might Flag Galleons. It's all up to you.

Another thing that plays a major role in this game is the fencing sequence. It's quite easy, really. Block, duck and jump as defensive moves. Thrust, slash and chop as offensive. Each move has its counterpart. The dancing sequence is quite alike. Turn right, turn left, move right, move left, move forward, move backward or fall on your nose.

So run buy this game. It's getting old, so even the mediocre computers can run it quite smoothly. The gameplay is really classic, and it is indeed a killer.

Finished it three times. Liked it every single time. Could've been a bit harder though.

Yes, it's a bit easy. Getting #1 pirate is a joke, while getting the time to do everything is hard. Becoming duke of all nations, getting all unique items, saving all of your family, finding all lost cities etc.
