I would suggest something that makes sense and is funny at the same time.
You could write a poem about writing a poem during holidays.
You could just start with one sentence and look for words in that wich you know some rhymes to and sort the sentence so it would fit.
They say a poem I should do,
but how to start it I have no clue.

Ok, that's pretty bad, but that's the way I would try it.
