Yep, i've never tried tribal crap before.
I'd love to hear whatcha think about this head.
It was made using gimp and it's 512x.

Nope i don't.
Also other version.

Red: Should be removed.
Green: Bad pentooling. Lines look wonky.
Blue: Could be improved upon.
Yellow: Obvious that you didn't know what you were doing and added something random.

So yeah, mouths generally don't work so well on tribal heads. At least not if you're using positive space. I have gotten some tribals with mouths to look good but only by using negative space.

Generally, on a tribal head, you want to make sure the pentooling is great. Flow, mapping, and pentooling.

The back is boring. Add some more curves back there.

The weird banana shapes. Looks like you were just like "oh no the back is boring I need to add some shapes"

It was exactly like that.
I was like, oh those holes are empty-i should fill them with something.
