Thats how it turned out.

The textures are not 2-Sided py purpose, looks unrealistic but better imo.

I might try it aggain tomorrow and then update this.

Nice night, i think the glass is good although the head is abit....err it doesnt work in the pic that well...but yeah its still pretty cool

look for some tutorials on CAUSTICS and TOTAL INTERNAL REFLECTION

caustics is that light pattern on the ground near glass objects, also responsible for the shimmering of glass

total internal reflection is responsible for the internal bouncing of light, making light rays seem to hold inside glass objects

UPDATE! (1st Post)

I activated the caustics but used a low precision to render faster (looks quite blured now).
I'm not shure where to set up the TIR (seems only possible with V-Ray).
Also turned down the IOR a bit.

Re-rendered with higher "final gather", the caustics still look the same.
Seems they have to be like this.
