Problem with special characters
Special characters like "é" "è" "ê" "à" "ç" turned into russian characters in old forum posts. E.g. :

We use many special characters in french and our old posts became illegible.

I think this is what happens when they converted parts of the forum into Russian in order to make the Russian boards at the bottom. Clans and Market for the Russians became necessary due to the large population of Russian speaking users. I don't really think there's a way they can fix this without reverting the Russian forum back.

I was trying to coax them into converting the forum to Unicode instead of using specific code pages for characters since it's affecting pretty much every other language as it is.

No idea if it'll happen sadly.
