Well, manual recruiting of smart, talented people usually does the trick.

It always adds humor to my day when I see a bad application It's what keeps other applicants from making the same stupid mistakes as previous stupid applications.

I wish that was true. Then we wouldn't have reject like 5 people in a row for the exact same reason.
