Hey man, if you check out my tutorial on circles and proportion in the tutorials part of the forum, you can apply the same principal to the shapes on your head textures so that it looks like checkered squares (like the leg textures) and not rectangles... Unless you wanted that look?

fix he checkers at the back of the head, it turns into stripes
and fix the proportions on the hands and feet

I do not know if this applies but this looks quite similar to mine.

I think I'd blame that on a common theme and a very common pattern... If you look at the arms, they're definitely different... just similar.
