I've had this problem for so long and it's induced much rage inside of me. I've just edited the settings on an object right about to export the mod.

I'm just about to click to go to the next page and bam, the mod disappears. for some reason all the objects go disabled and i have to redo from last save.

am i pressing a wrong button or what?
