I'm a newbie to the game, and I just wanted to turn dismemberment off... You know...Because... So I went to set-up, then game rules, then I un-checked the box that said "dismemberment:. I pressed accept, then spacebar, then proceeded to do a bicycle kick. When I did it, it broke off uke's leg... Even though I un-checked the "dismemberment" box... Does anyone know what's happening?

no, I mean pressing ESC then going to singleplayer, then to freeplay.

you have to have a game started first

start a game, change the settings, hit "ok", start a NEW game, and the settings are changed

Hold control, press N.

okay. first, change your settings..

then, double check the options to see if they saved.

IF they did, Start a NEW game... usually I hit space to go through a turn, R to start the replay, and space again to start a new game.

THEN the settings will take effect.

If they didn't, go back to step one.

I know how to start a new game, but how do you access the options in the middle of a battle?
