awesome but you could have made a vector layer for the reflection and used the gradient tool to make it fade out.

He means:

Using the gradient tool [white -> nothing/white] , selecting the letters [ML], and filling them. Then, you would resize and erase [with feather "on"] the gradient.

i didnt fade it much but you can see the difference
