That glitch is incredibly common with the forearms.

Is that really a glitch? You were coming down quite fast, and you raised both shoulders before you hit the ground, your arms had nowhere to go .. but down.

Yeah, it seems like it should just stay put but it sure doesn't. I got it to happen once a few months ago.

It's no glitch. Your arms came down hard, the joints are circular, so they spin. If you only just noticed this, you are quite slow.

This is a good example, of how realistic game physics are getting.
