How to upload texture : Import a new material, select that material, find the texture area in the bottom right of the screen, click the arrow, browse and choose. Then apply this material to which ever faces/objects you want.

Colouring joints is the same, use materials but don't apply textures.

You can move the tori rig by moving the 4 controllers and the hip. If you select all the controllers and the hip then you can rotate it and move it around, if you select a controller then you can move that limb. If you select just the hip you can make the tori squat or sway. You can also rotate each 'bone' but it's best not to try that as it can mess up.

Go to the render option in the top corner and find "Render to picture viewer" click that and wait.
