Pretty nasty stuff right there. The effects were nice. Looks like an animated real like alien. Much to my interest. But the shading is a little confusing. Is it coming from below? It does look good though.

The eyes are the only light source.

I think the purple bit on the lower part of the neck confused you. That's just part of the skin itself.
