This actually isn't bad for a first time vector work. I don't really care about how you did it, but I'll give you some constructive criticism for the final product.
I think that the shading on the face and some of the details is a little bit dark, in that it takes away from the detail you could have added to the lips. Remember, people notice the little things.
Otherwise, good work!

Not to be rude but you probably shouldn't have spent more than one hour on this..
The shading and lines are sloppy and feel rushed, you didn't pay attention to detail and missed out on the beautiful lighting on your hair.

You're not ugly at all but the vector makes you seem like a total dweeb..
