Well... Sorry to say, but for this amount of time you could do better.
Of course, I can understand if you weren't really trying to attain realism.
Some tips for you:
* In the future, you can check the values by making both images grayscale. Then you will be able to see if there are any mistakes in values and adjust the colors. For example, I know that you vector probably will be significantly lighter in grayscale mode, comparing to your stock image, and also it'll have much more contrast.
* Usually you need to avoid contrast, when making vectors.
* Color choise is like... meh... too bright color palette for me. I guess I like it more pale.
* Thin black lines really jump out from whole image. Try to NOT use them EVER again.
Again, I am a fan of hyper-realism, that's why my comment can seem jealous or unfair for some users.
