how do i change the engage distance i tried to but when i hit ok nothing happened

/set engagedistance x

x = number, of course

after that, just type /reset

Or if you're in singleplayer, reload the game (go back to menu and press singleplayer again)

While on multiplayer in your OWN server that you created type the following command;

/set ed <any number here>

Then type /reset to reset the players positions.

You would hit the esc. button.

Put This

Pres esc/setup/gamerules and change the engage distance

Or you can just hit ctrl+g and set the engagedistance there.
