Hi everyone!

I made this in GIMP just now, somewhere over an hour, and i'm pretty damn pleased with it!



This is a resized version, the original .xcf file is about 37mb because of the HUGE size and the 21 layers.

If you want it in a wallpaper size then pm me.

All i used for the image was a cloud brush, gradients, 2 layer masks and, oddly enough, a concrete texture.

I didn't actually take the original photo. if you're going to say it's bad, can you say why?

Where the cloud touches the ground, it looks very fake.

The mushroom cloud looks out of place a bit and the sky looks a bit too bright.

the perspective is off. it looks about tree size. and what are the red things at the top left? it also just doesn't look right. and i know this isn't all your fault, but the kid's legs are too long.

ahem. notice this picture. look at where the "trunk" of the smoke turns into the rounder part. this explosin looks like brocolli while yours looks like a really fat drumstick. change that part.

@mikotaku: yeah, ok, but that picture^ is ment to look like a clown, which doesn't say for certain that the whole thing isn't fake.
