When i check the shaders box on 3.8 it won't keep it checked All the other boxes will save but not the shaders, I hear alot of people are using them, i want to too. Please help.

What is your videocard?

Some of them don't support shaders. And if they do, make sure your drivers are up to date.

Where do i go to find what kind of video card i have?
And please don't leave a link to a FAQ just tell me where, please

Actually FAQ tells everything. If your lazy to find out yourself then when do you expect?

Go to start menu then run. Type in dxdiag, hit ok and you have it.
Got to the display tab and viola there's your GFX card.

So you dont even have a driver.

I guess you reinstalled Windows or something in your PC recently.

Look at your driver installer CDs what came with your PC, and find a graphics card driver.
That usually comes alone and contains some wierd graphics on it.

If you dont have any then you will need to find a driver search engine.
