  2. No minions on bidding! That means no having your friend's artificially raise the bid on an auction.
  3. When bidding on auctions, BID PROPERLY. A minimum bid raise of 10TC is required.
  4. Don't bid more TC than you have. THINK BEFORE YOU BID. It's just as much of a scam as taking someone's money for an imaginary item. If you have to, PM the seller asking them to hold the item until you have the correct amount.
  5. Don’t “Maybe” bid. Yoda said it best, “Do, or Do not…” If you’re not sure yet, don’t post! This messes up bids and sales.
  6. Bid withdrawals
    - As of now, bidders must* pay the seller 20% of their bid** if they want to withdraw the bid. Refusal to do so will result in a suspension. Inability to pay the 20% fee means that you will be in debt to the seller. When you bid, you are making a commitment to purchase what is being sold if you win. Attempting to go back on stupid or carefree bidding will thus be punished.

*The buyer does not have to pay to withdraw his bid if the fault is the seller's. For example, misleading auctions (selling a "pack" which is unpacked, falsely advertising items as no-Qi, etc.).
**If a bid is made in real money (ie, USD), and then withdrawn, you may pay your withdraw fee via the standard TC conversion of $1=10k TC.

  7. Auction withdrawals and time limits
    - As of now, sellers may no longer cancel auctions if the bid is "not high enough". Set the minimum bid to an amount which you are willing to accept. Auctions violating this rule will be closed and the seller told to recreate the auction, following the rules.

    - Auctions
must have a specified end time when they are created. Thus, things like "auction ends when I am happy with the bid" are NOT ALLOWED. A few examples of permitted end times:
  8. Ends on X date.
  9. Ends X hours after the last interested bidder posts (if the auction is inactive for X hours)

Auctions violating these rules will be closed and the seller told to recreate the auction, following the rules.
