Yea, probably your keyboard is broken.
But if you wanna nake sure, replace it with a spare one from anyone, check if that works then if it does then replace yours, if not then you have another problem there.

i didnt buy it. i g0t it fr0m my dads friend. lags like crap and when we g0t it, it was full 0f baby pictures. like 0ver 9000 babies. and this is a really 0ld lapt0p. the keyb0ard is built in s0 i cant take it 0ut.
