This idea and style have already been used many times , if you are planning to sell it , 100 tc will be fine, and i'm not joking.
For me it's like a plagiarism form, what's the point of making something based on someone else's works ? If you like this style , create something new.

If he made the textures by himself then that's fine,i don't see any problem,it is no plagiarism first and secondly it is not easy to create your own style so accommodating a certain style is ok.
