Adon's Panther System - Cool moves for beginners.
Alright guys, I wanted to make a system that can help educate beginners on how to throw powerful strikes in wushu. I see a lot of beginners jumping forward and using a simple knee extension and expecting great results. You don't even have to use these moves, just looking at them can help you understand how to move the way you want to move, especially using the chest and lumbar.

I had a lot of fun using these moves, and I know they aren't original or new, in fact I copied the base move from someone who used it against me. If someone is using a cool move that you want to use, you can press F to save the replay and then you can watch the replay and press E to see what they are doing with their character's joints.

Anyways, here is the system. I have included attachments that display some of the moves and a text file that has instructions on how and when to use the moves.

As a newbie I developed a strategy based on my favorite move, which I call the Panther Punch(12punch.rpl)

Panther Punch:

(hold all)

Right Rotate Chest
Right Bend Lumbar
Extend Right Pec
Extend Right Glute

---part 2(next turn)---

Left Rotate Chest
Left Bend Lumbar
Contract Right Pec
Extend Left Pec
Relax Right Elbow
Contract Left Elbow
Extend Right Hip

(Optional modification) Panther Uppercut:

Contract Right Glute
Extend Left Glute

Makes you jump a bit and hit more to the right.

(Optional modification) Panther Stall:

After Part 1, if your opponent isn't near you, you can do this to wait one turn before punching.

Contract Left Elbow

(Optional modification) Panther Elbow:

Contract Both Elbows
Contract Both Knees
Extend Right Hip
Left Rotate Chest
Left Bend Lumbar
Extend Abs
Contract Right Pec
Extend Left Pec
Contract Right Glute
Extend Left Glute

VERY powerful move. Only use it if your opponent is right on you after the first turn.

It is a basic wushu punch that you might see other people doing. What makes this special to me is how many options you have for powerful strikes after you've used it.

Flash Kick(After Panther Uppercut) (High hit)

Contract Right Hip
Extend Right Ankle
Extend Right Glute
Contract Left Glute
Contract Left Knee
Right Rotate Chest
Right Bend Lumbar
Contract Abs
Contract Left Pec
Extend Right Pec
Contract Right Elbow

Hits very high, is used after you miss a panther uppercut and your opponent is high above you for some reason. Will rarely see any use, but I included it just so you know that you do have a good option if your opponent is above you after the uppercut.

Panther Knee(After Panther Uppercut) (Medium Hit)

Right Rotate Chest
Right Bend Lumbar
Contract Right Hip
Contract Right Knee
Contract Left KNee
Extend Right Glute

This is for situations where you barely missed your uppercut and your opponent is at close range. I have included a great replay of this in action(kneeattack.rpl).

Panther Thousand(after Panther Uppercut) (Low Hit)

This is if your opponent is below you after the uppercut misses.

Contract Both Hips
Contract Both Pecs
Lower Both Shoulders
Contract Both Knees
Right Rotate Chest
Right Bend Lumbar
Contract Abs

Panther Bomb(after Panther Thousand)

This is if your opponent is still alive after Panther Thousand, you can do this to push them into the ground.

Extend Both Hips
Extend Both Pecs
Extend Both knees
Extend Abs
Extend Both Elbows
Raise Shoulders
Left Rotate Chet
Left Bend Lumbar

Pouncing Panther(charge.rpl)

This is a seldom used attack that is mostly for show. Looks really cool, but not very effective.

Panther Block(pantherblock.rpl)

This is a block that can trick an opponent into breaking their own attacking limb. Use it if you know what your opponent will do.

"What can I learn from this?"

If you are a beginner, skim through the attacks to see what is giving these strikes their power. It is usually a retraction, then a change of direction. By that I mean you rotate and bend the chest/lumbar one way, then move it the other as you attack. This adds a lot of strength(rotation speed) to your attacks. You can see this going on during every one of these attacks.

I belive those are not your "own" moves.
Though, it has a nice main idea, teaching "noobs" how to use the momentun.
I don't think you read the OP..I said the Panther Punch wasn't my invention. I made the followups up though obviously as they are just improvisations.

There is no such thing as "own" moves.
most moves have been used very often.. improvisation is the way to go once you understand the basics
