I really like it, it has some sort of 3d effect on the top, it's kinda "wavy", the shading is very nice and I like how the gold blends over into orange/brown.
Good job on this. How long did it take you?

Very nice, I like how the top does look as if it's curved. Maybe shook can find something wrong with it.

Well that would be kinda hard, seeing that this guy is miles ahead of me in terms of pixel art. :U
But anyways, looks very snazzy so far, the only thing that catches my eye is how the lock appears to face the viewer directly, instead of facing the same direction as the plane it sits on.

Well I`m guessing it could be like those RPG games with the items looking at you.

For example: I used to play pokemanz, (lol), and the items you find outside of a store or battle in a pokeball, faces towards you.

@Nobuddie: Thanks, that last edition of it probably took me an hour or two.

@shook: Yeah, I was trying to have a major shadow from the top of the chest while keeping the heavy shading from the curve. It makes it look like it has 'perspective', which might look good, but it wasn't what I was aiming for.
