Toribash

Before I go on. I searched through the forum for like....5 hours, looked at the FAQ the tutorials and everything and I could not find a answer so dont me.

Whenever I play Toribash the most godawful test is shown, it is so bad I cant even read it. The only text I CAN read is the ultra large text at the begining of the game.

If you can read ALL of that, and not just the WAITING FOR YOUR TURN thing, then I am crazy or insane.

I can barely make out some letters but otherwise it is unreadable.

If someone can give me any advice, it would be much appreciated.

Are you in full screen?

Maybe it is improperly downloaded? Did you type anything in the manuals or text notepads in Program Files>Toribash 3.04?
[eVo]LtKenny- Huh... Cocks are fun to play with...

I have a new computer and very high specs ( probably the best computer I could've gotten. I got it 2 months ago)

I re-downloaded it several times, and I typed nothing in the notepads.

I have a fairly new moniker. It isn't as thin as some of the newer ones but it is still good.

And my FPS never drops below 39.

I am not in full screen, but when I went into full screen once, nothing changed except the text got worse.

I do run Windows Vista. I have 1.8gigs of ram...I have a Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family

I know this is something that is not at fault with vista.

My room mate has a computer with XP and his does the samething.
1. What graphics card does your room-mate's computer has ?
2. Try using the latest sdl.dll which can be found here:
(Replace with sdl.dll currently in the Toribash directory)
