I'm thinking maybe he posted the wrong replay, since that's the ramp mod, not platform.

One thing I've noticed about a lot of these fights is that a lot of the tension tends to get lost when viewing a replay. When there's that pause between turns during the fight, you get to really get a feel for the situation ("oh, I'm screwed", etc). However, it all goes by so fast in a replay you can't really get a feel for any nuances that happened.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind, I see what happened in the replay after watching it again, and yes that is some seriously insane luck.

Marine was not only very badly dismembered, but he was also heading down the ramp way before Kyleb. However, Kyleb still got disqualified because the wrist from his severed hand managed to hit the ground before any of Marine's parts.

ahem..war hero has made survived that without dismembering IMO

oh yer... that IS some insane luck... a dm'ed wrist rarely dq's at all, let alone saving someone like that
