This is the first year since its launch in October 2000 that the PS2 has not sold more than 1 million units.

It has sold only 80,000 as of November.

It was a good run. It lasted nigh on ten years, but I knew it would fall once my PSP had equal graphics, and my iPod Touch had better graphics.

I'll miss the PS2. It was good while it lasted.

I sold mine last year, then realised this year that I really wanted one. So I bought another one. Best $10 ever. It really is an awesome console, Ratchet and Clank ftw!

Any playstation will never die. people with xbox still say playstation 2 are better i love the ps3 and i still the ps2

It wont die...maybe ppl wont buy it anymore but still the ps2 creators will still launch new ps2 games.

I just hope they will keep making more games for PS2. Ratchet and Clank FTW !!

they should make every vintage ps2 game into a ps3 game
